Developmental Expectations
through the Ages

ADA Kujifunza Msingi children receive instruction that supports and strengthens their natural ability to learn. Activities implemented to challenge the child to relate with an understanding that they are a part of a whole. The learning environment allows children to do some things by themselves and also with others. EVERYTHING covered is centered around the Fundamental Developmental Focus with the purpose of preparing the child to approach life, and their own respective stages, with awareness and intentionality.

Though instruction is provided at different levels of depth, children of all ages at ADA Kujifunza Msingi are oriented in the educational objectives, these being, foundational competencies and relational acumen development.

Msingi Tatu

  • Protocol and conduct (self and group)
  • Composition and Construction of written language
  • Comprehension of written language
  • Object identification and deconstruction
  • Numbers application and relational manipulation
  • Elements, variables and relationships
  • Calligraphy

ages 4

** The list provided is to offer a peep-hole’s insight into base-level expectations, and as such, participatory engages are not limited to the aforementioned. Additionally, though a child may begin in their age group, they are not restricted there if proving to habitually execute overall base-level expectations. So for example, a 2-year-old child [Msingi Moja] expeditiously grasping what they need to, can be repositioned to the 3-years-old Section [Msingi Mbili].
